New Course

The Diploma in Coaching is our own tailor-made course, which has been approved by CPCAB and given the code DC-L4. It replaces the Level 4 Diploma in Life Coaching (LC-L4). This new Level 4 qualification is delivered entirely online.

Nationally recognised

This Level 4 Diploma leads to a nationally recognised Coaching Qualification. Specifically, we designed it for people working in helping roles (or those planning to move into them) who follow a humanistic, integrative approach. With this course you can develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become an independent coach whilst remaining grounded in your core professional values.

Core Conditions

These values include the importance of Rogers’ core conditions, being authentic in relationship and respecting the client’s own resources.  Rather than positioning the coach as an “expert” or external authority, the course encourages you to trust the client’s internal locus of evaluation and natural potential for growth.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is aimed at those who have achieved a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in a helping discipline, or equivalent. If you want to become an independent coach, or alternatively integrate coaching skills and knowledge into your existing helping practice, this programme provides a clear and supportive pathway.

Once you complete the course, you can establish yourself as an independent coach. Additionally you can strengthen your current professional role by incorporating coaching approaches into your practice.

Course Content

The qualification will enable you to:

- Work within an ethical framework for independent coaching practice

- Develop and apply a relational approach to your coaching practice

- Integrate an informed understanding of diversity into your coaching work

- Support clients to cope with life’s challenges and to engage with opportunities to flourish

- Draw on your own self-development to strengthen your coaching effectiveness

- Apply a coherent body of knowledge and skills to enhance your coaching practice

- Engage in reflective practice to continually develop and refine your coaching work
