Counselling Rooms for Rent

If you’re a practising counsellor, psychotherapist, supervisor or coach looking for a professional base in or around Shaftesbury, we currently have two counselling rooms and one training room available for daily/hourly rent. These are located in the centre of the town, at The Old Schoolhouse.

The Counselling Rooms

The rooms below are offered on a day-hire basis, giving you a regular, reliable space for face-to-face work without the commitment of taking on your own premises.

Each room is available 8am to 9pm, every day except Tuesdays, including weekends.

Free wifi is included, as well as use of the kitchen facilities.

Day Rates for Beech and Maple

• £40 per day
• £45 per day with a dedicated parking space.

There are two public car parks, one adjoining the venue and the other a two minute walk away, which makes access straightforward for both practitioners and clients.

The rooms provide a quiet, private and welcoming setting designed for therapeutic work. For many practitioners, having a professional space that clients can find easily — with the added convenience of parking — makes a real difference to the experience of in-person sessions.

This arrangement may suit sole practitioners who want a consistent weekly base, but it could also work well for small practices of two or three practitioners who want to share a room during one day. For example, one practitioner could use the room in the morning, another in the afternoon and another later in the evening — allowing a small practice to create a regular presence in Shaftesbury while keeping overheads manageable.

The Training Room

Our large room, Oak, is available as well, on an hourly hire basis.

Oak room

This room would be suited to those who deliver group work sessions. It can easily accommodate 10 people, and is available at the rate of £15 per hour. (Does not include parking). Free wifi is included, as well as use of the kitchen facilities.

Shaftesbury is well placed for practitioners and clients from the town itself as well as surrounding areas including Salisbury, Gillingham, Mere, Sturminster Newton, Tisbury and North Dorset.
